الْخِصَالُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ السَّعْدَآبَادِيِّ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْإِيَادِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شِمْرٍ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ع قَالَ: مَا مِنْ عَمَلٍ أَفْضَلَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ مِنْ دَمٍ مَسْفُوكٍ أَوْ مَشْيٍ فِي بِرِّ الْوَالِدَيْنِ أَوْ ذِي رَحِمٍ قَاطِعٍ يَأْخُذُ عَلَيْهِ بِالْفَضْلِ
وَ يَبْدَأُهُ بِالسَّلَامِ أَوْ رَجُلٍ أَطْعَمَ مِنْ صَالِحِ نُسُكِهِ وَ دَعَا إِلَى بَقِيَّتِهَا جِيرَانَهُ مِنَ الْيَتَامَى وَ أَهْلِ الْمَسْكَنَةِ وَ الْمَمْلُوكِ وَ تَعَاهَدَ الْأُسَرَاءَ.
(The book) ‘Al Khisaal’ – from his father, from Ali Bin Al-Husayn Al Sa’adabady, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah Al Barqy, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad Al Iyadi, from Abdullah Bin Muhammad, from Amro Bin Shimr, from Aban Bin Muhammad Bin Muhammad, Son of Ali-asws who said, ‘There is no act of worship superior on the day of sacrifice than blood spilt (sacrificial animal), or walking regarding righteousness of the parents, or for someone with kinship cut off, taking upon it with the Grace. And he should begin with the greeting, or a man feeding from his righteous ritual, and inviting his neighbours from the orphans, to its remainder, and the poor people, and the slaves, and provide to the needy’’.
