Hadith 16

(The book) ‘Kashf Al Ghumma’ from the book ‘Mowlud Fatima-asws’ of Ibn Babuways, from Ibn Abbas who said, ‘I asked the Prophet-saww about the Phrases which Adam-as had received from his-as Lord-azwj, so He-azwj was Clement to him-as. He-saww said: ‘He-as had asked his-as Lord-azwj: ‘By the right of Muhammad-saww, and Ali-asws, and (Syeda) Fatima-asws, and Al-Hassan-asws, and Al-Husayn-asws, please Turn to me-as (with Mercy)! ’ So He-azwj was Clement to him-as’’. [17]
And it is reported from Ja’far-asws Bin Muhammad-asws, that there was a woman from the Jinn called Afra’a and she used to come to the Prophet-saww and listen to his-saww speech, then she would go to the righteous Jinn and they would become Muslims upon her hands; and the Prophet-saww missed her, and he-saww asked Jibraeel-as about her. He-as said: ‘She has visited a sister of her she loves for the Sake of Allah-azwj the Exalted’. He-saww said: ‘(The tree of) Tooba is for the ones loving each other for the Sake of Allah-azwj Blessed and Exalted in the Paradise, pillars of red ruby. Upon it are seventy thousand castles, in every castle there are seventy thousand chambers. Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic has Created it for the ones loving each other for the Sake of Allah-azwj! ’
And Afra’a came. The Prophet-saww said to her: ‘O Afra’a! Where were you? ’
She said, ‘I visited a sister of mine! ’
He-saww said: ‘Beatitude is for the ones loving each other for the Sake of Allah-azwj. O Afra’a! Which thing did you see? ’
She said, ‘I saw many wonders’. He-saww said: ‘What is the most wondrous of what you saw? ’
She said, ‘I saw Iblees-la upon a white rock in the green sea extending his-la hands towards the sky, and he-la was saying, ‘My-la God-azwj! When You-azwj have Fulfilled Your-azwj Promise and Enter me into the Fire of Hell, I-la ask You-azwj by the right of Muhammad-saww, and Ali-asws, and (Syeda) Fatima-asws, and Al-Hassan-asws, and Husayn-asws to please Finish me-la from it and Gather me-la with them-asws! ’
I said: “O Abu Haris-la What are these names which you-la are supplicating with? ”
He-la said, ‘I-la saw there (inscribed) upon the base of the Throne, seven thousand years before Allah-azwj Mighty and Majestic Created Adam-as, so I-la knew they-asws are the most prestigious of the creatures unto Allah-azwj, so I-la asked Him-azwj by their-asws right’. The Prophet-saww said: ‘By Allah-azwj! Even if people of the earth were to vow with these names, Allah-azwj the Exalted will Answer them! ’
And I am saying, ‘O Allah-azwj! I ask You-azwj by the right of Muhammad-saww, and Ali-asws, and (Syeda) Fatima-asws, and Al-Hassan-asws, and Al-Husayn-asws to Forgive my sins for me and to Overlook from my evil deeds, and Rectify my affairs in the world and the Hereafter and to Grace me the goodness in the world and the Hereafter, and to Turn the evil away from me in the world and the Hereafter, and Do that with the Momineen and the Muslims, in easts of the earth and its west, and may Allah-azwj Mercy a servant who says, ‘Ameen’’.
