Hadith. 3026 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) was asked about the verse of Allah (swt), the Almighty: "Whoever hastens in two days, there is no sin upon him; and whoever delays, there is no sin upon him. " (Surah Al-Baqarah 2: 203)
Imam (as) replied: "It does not mean that it is merely a choice—whether one chooses to do this or that. Rather, it means that the person returns forgiven, with no sin upon him and no blame remaining for him. "
