His Supplication in Mentioning the Household of Muhammad (upon them be peace)

(57) وكان من دعائه ( عليه السلام ) في ذكر آل محمّد عليهم السلام 1. أَللَّهُمَّ يامَنْ خَصَّ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَهُ بِالْكَرَامَةِ، وَحَباهُمْ بِالرِّسالَةِ، وَخَصَّصهُمْ بِالْوَسِيلَةِ، وَجَعَلَهُمْ وَرَثَةَ الاَنْبِيآءِ، وَخَتَمَ بِهِمُ الاَوْصِيآءَ وَالاَئِمَّةَ، وَعَلَّمَهُمْ عِلْمَ ما كَانَ وَعِلمَ مَا بَقِيَ وَجَعَلَ أَفْئِدَةً مِنَ النَّاسِ تَهْوِي إلَيْهِمْ. 2. فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَآلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ، وَافْعَلْ بِنا ما أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ فِي الدِّينِ وَالدُّنْيا وَالاخِرَةِ، إنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْء قَدِيرٌ.
1- O God, O He Whosingled out Muhammad and his Household for honour, showed favour toward them with messengerhood, specified them for the mediation, 6appointed them the heirs to the prophets, sealed with them the executors and the Imams, taught them the knowledge of what has beenand what remains to be, and made the hearts of the people incline toward them! 2- Bless Muhammad and his Household, the pure, and act toward us with that of which Thou art worthyin religion, in this world, and in the next world! Thou art powerful over everything. 7
