فَلَاحُ السَّائِلِ، وَ مِصْبَاحُ الشَّيْخِ، وَ الْبَلَدُ الْأَمِينُ، ثُمَّ قُلْ يَا اللَّهُ الْمَانِعُ قُدْرَتُهُ خَلْقَهُ وَ الْمَالِكُ بِهَا سُلْطَانَهُ وَ الْمُتَسَلِّطُ بِمَا فِي يَدَيْهِ كُلُّ مَرْجُوٍّ دُونَكَ يُخَيِّبُ رَجَاءَ رَاجِيهِ وَ رَاجِيكَ مَسْرُورٌ لَا يَخِيبُ
أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ رِضاً لَكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ أَنْتِ فِيهِ وَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ تُحِبُّ أَنْ تُذْكَرَ بِهِ وَ بِكَ يَا اللَّهُ فَلَيْسَ يَعْدِلُكَ شَيْءٌ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَنْ تَحُوطَنِي وَ إِخْوَانِي وَ وُلْدِي وَ تَحْفَظَنِي بِحِفْظِكَ وَ أَنْ تَقْضِيَ حَاجَتِي فِي كَذَا وَ كَذَا وَ تَذْكُرُ مَا تُرِيدُ. فَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ص أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِذَا قَالَ ذَلِكَ قُضِيَتْ حَاجَتُهُ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَزُولَ.
(The books) ‘Falah Al Saail’, and ‘Misbah’ of the sheykh, and ‘Al Balad Al Ameen’ –
‘Then say, ‘O Allah-azwj Whose Power defends His-azwj creation, and the Owner having Authority with it, and the Prevailer with what is in His-azwj Hand! Every one hoping for other than You-azwj is disappointed of the hope he hopes for, and one hoping to You-azwj is happy, not disappointed. I ask You-azwj for all Satisfaction of Yours-azwj from all things You-azwj are in, and with all things You-azwj Love to be Mentioned with, and with You-azwj O Allah-azwj, so nothing equates to You-azwj. Send Salawaat upon Muhammad-saww and Family-asws of Muhammad-saww, and Surround me, and my brethren, and my children, and Protect me with Your-azwj Protection, and Fulfil my needs regarding such and such’ – and mention what you want’’. [17]
It has been reported from the Prophet-saww having said: ‘When he says that, his needs will be fulfilled from before he moves’’. [18]
